Regional Market President

Benjy brings nearly two decades of managed care experience across several states to his role as Regional Market President at Equality Health, overseeing Equality Health’s Texas and Louisiana markets. He is decisive health plan leader with a proven track record navigating complexities spanning payers, providers, and health systems to improve financial performance. Benjy has experience optimizing organizations, building teams, and delivering growth through strategic vision and operational expertise. In his role with Equality Health, Benjy leads coordination efforts to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance care coordination, care management, and member experience for both payers and providers.

Benjy most recently served as President, New Markets for AmeriHealth Caritas and prior to that in multiple leadership roles with Magellan Health, Cigna-HealthSpring and UnitedHealth Group. Before beginning his journey in managed care, Benjy worked at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in various financial leadership and legislative liaison roles. He earned a B.A. in Agribusiness from Texas State University and an M.B.A. in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix.
