Senior Vice President, Enterprise Product

Claire Zimmerman joined the Equality Health team in 2018 and serves as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Product. She works closely with Equality Health’s partners to drive product strategy and ensure successful delivery and adoption of Equality Health’s technology solutions throughout the U.S.

Claire has more than a decade of healthcare experience, beginning her career in hospital administration in rural Northern Arizona where she became acutely familiar with the disparity that exists across the healthcare industry, particularly in rural and minority populations. She subsequently built her career around leveraging technology to combat that disparity.

Claire spent seven years at UnitedHealthcare, where she was accountable for the operations and infrastructure supporting the Medicaid Accountable Care and Health Home programs—initiatives that grew from a few thousand Medicaid beneficiaries to more than a million over the course of her tenure.

She managed the deployment of a number of UnitedHealthcare’s technology platforms in the Medicaid and Medicare space, and implemented data exchange protocols with 15 Health Information Exchanges and more than 600 hospitals to support these platforms. She was honored with an ATHENA nomination by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce in 2017 for her unfailing drive to improve healthcare outcomes for the underserved.

Claire is an Arizona native and holds degrees from both the University of Arizona and Arizona State University.
