Published: June 18, 2019

Phoenix, Arizona, June 18, 2019 – The Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation (the Foundation) announced a new partnership with Equality Health to make the community wellness initiative, Wellness AtoZ, more accessible to all Arizonans—specifically, the Spanish-speaking market, with the launch of Wellness AtoZ: por tu salud.

“I’m excited about this partnership with a leader and innovator in the healthcare sector,” said Todd Sanders, Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation President and CEO. “Wellness AtoZ has significantly impacted businesses, and our new partnership will provide the resources to expand that reach.”

Wellness AtoZ, an initiative of the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation, aims to make Arizona and the Greater Phoenix region known as a destination for healthy living.

By offering free, accessible wellness resources to all employers of all sizes, Wellness AtoZ is forging a path forward for businesses to help their employees improve their quality of life and their work performance. Through Wellness AtoZ, employers can access complimentary turnkey wellness toolkits to support an existing workplace wellness program or create a new one. To date, more than 95 companies have joined as Wellness AtoZ employers. In total, the program has supported more than 250,000 individuals across the state

This year, Wellness AtoZ is partnering with healthcare leader Equality Health to develop Spanish language Wellness AtoZ content.

“Creating healthier communities within diverse populations is what we are about,” said Hugh Lytle, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Equality Health. “We are excited to leverage our deep health knowledge and cultural expertise to help advance the Wellness AtoZ initiative and create greater access to personalized wellness information within the Hispanic community.”

Founded in 2015, Equality Health is creating a revolutionary healthcare delivery system for populations that have long struggled with integrating into the traditional one-size-fits-all U.S. healthcare model. Working closely with stakeholders in the community, Equality Health pioneered an innovative and sustainable Cultural Care Model that establishes a trusted resource among patients and providers alike.

The Spanish language Wellness AtoZ program is launching today, Tuesday, June 18.

“The Foundation team has continually heard from employers and community members that there is a need for increased workplace wellness materials to help them educate and engage their employees,” said Jennifer Mellor, Chief Innovation Officer of the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation. “We believe the partnership with Equality Health is the natural progression of Wellness AtoZ to ensure that the program holistically reaches Arizona’s residents.”

As workplace wellness programs continue to thrive, it’s vital that all companies provide some sort of wellness programing to their employees. Wellness AtoZ aims to help all businesses by providing accessible resources and turnkey workplace wellness toolkits at no cost.

Whether employers are looking to start up a new wellness program or supplement an existing one, Wellness AtoZ is here to help with all-on-one modules that include marketing toolkits and monthly communications to share with employees. Additionally, Wellness AtoZ employers receive a special business recognition that distinguishes them as a wellness-focused employer.
